Megaman 9 is coming... and I still have way too many games to play before I get to to it. However, Capcom has revealed a new complete NES cart/box set for the new title. Yes, they actually made a box for the game that looks identical to the old NES games, which is, in my opinion, pretty creative. Unfortunatley, Ars Techinca states that the game," will be sent out to certain lucky members of the press." The set includes artwork and other miscellaneous game information.
Whether the public will eventually freely get their hands on this special version of the box is still unconfirmed. John Diamonon from Capcom did state that they plan on putting about 200 of these retro sets on the Capcom's store. So, people who are fast enough can snatch this gem. I can only wonder how much one of these sets is going to be going for on eBay. The game will be released next Monday, the 22nd of September, for Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, and on WiiWare.
